Had lunch with mum at Ben's.
Ben's is one of the new restaurants on Pavilion's 6th floor. Replacing The C. Club (Carat Club), the glitzy, pretty jewellery shop cum fine dining restaurant which is every girl's best friend. I dined there once for my 23rd birthday celebration. :) I luv the transparent, and glassy diamond-like decorations there; food is wonderful as well. A nice place for posh-dining since it is suprisingly inexpensive for its class. .... Argh.. it's closed. ×̯×
Now back to Ben's. Ben's has a classy interior and comfortable dining areas. The food menu is extensive, ranging from salad, soups, sandwiches, pies, spaghetti and asian cuisine. Price wise, they are not too expensive, in average a main dish come up to RM20++.

Ben's extensive menu
Moroccan Lamb Pie (RM19.90)
mum's Peking Duck Roll (RM22.90)
English Apple Freeze (RM11.90)
The lamb pie has chunks of succulent lamb, goes well with the sauce provided. Mum's peking duck roll has generous serving of meat and carrots wrapped in a tortilla. Overall a satisfying lunch.
However, was quite dissapointed as I could not try out the red velvet cake (sold out) which has been recommended by a few bloggers. Will come back for more dessert in future.
And, oh ya, guess who I saw there? ..haha.. Melvin Sia :P
UPDATED : Revisit
red velvet
Tried the red velvet cake which is recommended. The cake's good, not too sweet and the slightly salty cheese cream on top compliments the chocolate cream layerings.
